The USA-NPN consists of a National Coordinating Office, Board of Directors, and many partners, including citizen scientists, resource managers, educators, and scientists from organizations including public agencies, Native American tribes, on-governmental organizations, specialized networks, and academic institutions.

The USA-NPN National Coordinating Office (NCO) is a coordination and resource center working to advance the mission of the USA-NPN.  The NCO and partnering organizations and individuals together comprise the USA-NPN.

We have defined the following levels of involvement with NPN:

Sponsors provide support for USA-NPN activities either through direct funding or substantial in-kind support or cooperation. Sponsors include funding agencies, foundations, corporations, and individuals. Asterisks (*) indicate Founding Sponsors.

Collaborators work closely via an established relationship with the USA-NPN in a variety of ways, including but not limited to data collection; contributing existing data, added-value products, or services; undertaking specific projects; and engaging others in the Network.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or collaborator, check out our Strategic Partnership Plan, or contact the NPN National Coordinating Office.
